Japanese Style Tea Ceremony

What do you imagine when you hear “tea ceremony”? Maybe you will imagine British style tea ceremony. You will imagine flowers, cakes, black teas, antique table and chairs, elegant atmosphere, but Japanese style is quite difference. Then, I’ll introduce about Japanese style tea ceremony.
There are many rules in Japanese style tea ceremony. First, Japanese style tea ceremony is done on the “tatami”. Do you know “tatami”? It’s a mat made from straw. People sit on it directory, so there are no chairs in room where ceremony is done. Second, people must wear Kimono. Kimono is Japanese dress. Third, ceremony is done in a Japanese-style room.

How do Japanese do tea ceremony? A person who makes green tea gives green tea to guests. There is no table in room, so tea cup is put on tatami. If guest is given green tea, turn cup twice and drink it. Some Japanese sweets are given with green tea. Kind of sweets differs with season. Usually Japanese sweets are colorful and look so beautiful.
The biggest difference between British style tea ceremony and Japanese style tea ceremony is that people can talk or cannot talk. In Japanese style tea ceremony, people must be quiet. Japanese thinks tea ceremony for tasting tea’s taste, so should not talk with someone in ceremony.

My Best 3 Blogs From Other Class

I chose my best 3 blogs from other class. All of them were very interesting and great. I could get a lot of knowledges from them. It was interesting to read entry that is written by someone who I don't know.

No.1 is The Wizard's Song. I was surprized this blog's auther's english skill. She writes sentence very well and her entry is very easy to read. Contents are interesting and valuable for me. Pictures are beautiful too. I respect this blog's arthor. I want to make blog like this.

No.2 is SquarePants. I think maybe this blog's author is "Sponge Bob"'s fan. lol I like sponge bob too. It's funny. She uses many interesting picture. Especially, foods pictures are looks so delicious. How to write sentence is good too. I like this blog.XD

No.3 is miiiiiyan days. I think this blog's design is simple, but civil, so easy to read. She uses many interesting pictures. I think it's goog.

They are that I chose. I respect these blogs. I will effort and improve my english skill. I want to write enrty better. Anyway, every blogs are so great!

My Best3 Blogs

I chose best3 of my friend's blogs. I considered about design, contents, how easy to understand and so on and desided best 3. It was difficult to deside, because everybody's blogs are great, but I desided them.

No.1 is Flower Town. This is Chiemi's blog. I think this blog is used many kinds of colors and a lot of underlines, so It's easy to read. Contents are interesting too.

No.2 is L.S.C. This is Asaki's blog. I think this blog has many links, so we can get a lot of knowledges.

No.3 is Diary :-) This is Yuka's blog. She uses many interesting pictures. Her viewponit is unique and sentences are simple, so I can read it easyly.

New Zealand Food

New Zealand is an island country that is in the the southwestern Pacific. New Zealand prospers in agriculture because of rich land. Especially, dairy farming and stock raising. Manuka honey, kiwi fruits, lamb, milk, beef, are special products.
Have you ever eaten Hokey Pokey? Hokey Pokey is an icecream flavor that is popular in New Zealand.How to make the Hokey Pokey is this. Melt sugar, honey, baking powder together and make small chunks of caramel. Then mix caramel into vanilla ice cream. It is different from ordinary caramel ice cream, because its texture is lumpy. Honey and milk are special products of New Zealand. It is suitable for making Hokey Pokey. It is difficult to eat Hokey Pokey in Japan, but we can buy from mail-order sales, but it's too expensive. Including postage and shipping charges, maybe an icecream costs us for about1000 yen. I recommend you to cook it by yourself.

Festival

　The other day, autumn festival held at shrine in my hometown. It was small festival, but a lot of people gathered and made merry. I could't go to festival, because I had to work my part time job then in spite of I love festival. What a shame! I love festival, because there are a lot of stalls and I can eat foods that I can seldom eat. I think everyone loves festival, because it is fun, but I don't think everyone knows meaning of their local festivals. Why don't you think it's strange that we enjoy festival in spite of we don't know their meaning? So, I searched meaning of my　hometown festival.

　My hometown is Kira town in Aichi. Do you know Kira town? It lies in the middle southern part of Aichi. The festival was held in Kasuga shrine in Kira town. Kasuga shrine was built many years ago. Kira has big river called "Yahagigawa". The old days, Yahagigawa often overflowed, so people made a bypass and stopped the overflow and built shrine there. I couldn't search really meaning of festival, but I think people held festival, because they wants to thank to god that they don't have overflow.

　There are a lot of festivals in Japan and they have meaning and history. Why don't you know what your local fastival means? If you know their meaning, maybe your viewpoint for the local festival will change!
　
　

Ponyo on the Cliff by the sea

Ponyo on the Cliff by the sea is the animation movie film directed by Hayao Miyazaki and created by studio ghibli inc. Hayao Miyazaki and studio ghibli inc is very popular in Japan and praised many people of all ages and both sexes. Their movie has deep theme and cute character and high imaging technique. I think that's why their movie praised many people of all ages and both sexes. Recently, their movie is praised by foreigner too. I'm glad that japanese movie is praised by foreigner.

　

　Then, I'll introduce the story of this movie. Ponyo is called " gold fish princess". According to the name, Ponyo is gold fish. One day, Ponyo meets a human boy called "Sosuke". Ponyo fall in love with Sosuke, so she wants to be a human girl. To become human girl, Ponyo uses magic, but caused magic, a lot of incident happen.

　

　I saw this movie in this summer vacation with my friend. I thought this movie is like a picture book, so I became the good old feeling as I returned when I was childhood. I recommend you this movie. If you see this movie, you can remember your childhood, and Ponyo is very cute!
